Mark Smith

Lead Pastor

Pastor Mark is the Lead and Founding Pastor of New Beginnings which started in his garage over 25 years ago. Thanks to his vision and passion, this body of believers has dramatically grown in numbers and in their love of the Lord.

One of Pastor Mark’s strengths is his ability to speak the language of the people. His approach to ministry has been described as bold and zealous. He makes no apologies for a Biblical foundation and is in no way ashamed to proclaim the gospel message.

Pastor Mark and his wife, Susie, have been married for over 30 years and have three grown children. When it comes to Pastor Mark's sense of humor, let's just say it's never dull when he's around!

Rhonda Mayhugh

Business Administrator

Rhonda has been at New Beginnings almost from the start and has been on staff for most of that time serving in several roles including the current Business Administrator position.
She's a homebody but escapes now and then to do a little traveling. Her favorite excursions are to the mountains where she's hoping one day to have a little cabin deep in the woods with just the sounds of birds and animals for company. Of course, not too far away that she can't see her three children and their families.
